The 2026 meeting of the GAAF dedicated to the theme of isolation was a great success in the idyllic setting of Corsica!

• 22 oral presentations
• 13 posters
• 1 wonderful evening devoted to discovering Corsican archaeological heritage through the history of Mariana and its museum

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss both the issue of isolation and the very concept of isolation itself, shaped by numerous factors (technical, geographical, etc.) and challenges (societal, social, cultural, religious, etc.).
