Call for abstracts – Society for the Study of Childhood in the Past
The 16th annual conference of the Society for the Study of Childhood in the Past will be held in Bordeaux (France) November 20th – 23rd, 2024.
The call for abstract is now open!
The core theme of SSCIP2024 will be “interdisciplinarity” in terms of studying children and childhood in the past (in the broadest sense), but sessions where the focus of papers is not just on interdisciplinary research will also be proposed.

The abstract submission deadline is 31 July 2024.

You will have first to create an account: sscip2024 website > top right of the screen > login > create an account

Once the account has been created you will be able to submit the abstract: sscip2024 website, left column “my space” > “my submissions” > “ + submit an abstract”

Abstracts are limited to 300 words. Please be as specific as possible when choosing keywords as they will help the Scientific Committee to gather the talks into coherent thematic sessions.

Co-authors can be added in the second page during the submission process (after the abstract-related information page).

On the third page, please upload a *.PDF or *.docx version of your abstract (with complete information).

After the overview page, you will be able to submit. You should receive an email of confirmation from sscip2024@sciencesconf.org (if not, please check your spams folder).

The Scientific Committee will review all submissions, and you will be notified if your paper has been accepted. July
