The Department of Archaeology, Ancient History and Conservation is seeking an Associate Senior Lecturer in Archaeology with Specialisation in Osteology. The department’s activities at Campus Gotland are currently in an expansive phase, and new positions are gradually being opened up.

Position:
The duties of the position consist of teaching, research and administration in archaeology and human and animal osteology. Teaching includes course responsibility, course administration and supervision. Teaching is conducted through lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory work at all levels. The proportion of teaching, including course administration, amounts to maximum 50 percent.
The proportion of research amounts to at least 50 percent of the full-time position. The candidate’s own research is expected to strengthen and develop the department’s research profile in archaeology with a focus on osteology. The duties also include actively applying for external research funding as well as contributing to the increased recruitment of doctoral students and researchers at the department.
