43rd AFAM International Conference – Merovingian artefacts: from manufacture to (re)discovery

The 43rd International Conference of the French Association of Merovingian Archaeology (AFAM) will take place in Liège (Belgium) from 05 to 07 October 2023.

This year the conference themes are:

  • Manufactured artefacts, between Late Antiquity and the High Middle Ages
  • Worn and repaired artefacts
  • Associated artefacts
  • Curated artefacts
  • Current research in Merovingian archaeology
