Abstract submission for the Days of the Conference on Cremation in Belgian Archeology (CIA 2022) is open and the selected themes are as follows:

Six thematic sessions are planned at CIA 2022, covering different topics from radiocarbon dating and osteological analyses to pyre technology and funerary practices, and much more.

  3. Pyre technology and funerary practices
  4. Beyond cremation
  5. New developments for the study of cremations and cremated human remains
  6. Challenges and limitations
